Care Notes

Most houseplants die of too much love, not too little. When in doubt: less water, brighter spot, and repot only in spring.

The three rules

  1. Drainage beats schedule. If the pot has a hole, water when the top inch is dry.
  2. Light is food. Closer to the window is almost always better.
  3. Yellow leaves tell you things. Many yellow leaves plus wet soil means put the watering can down.

Pets

Pet-safe picks: none currently in stock. The cactus is a perimeter device.

Repotting

Spring, one pot size up.
