Care Notes
Most houseplants die of too much love, not too little. When in doubt: less water, brighter spot, and repot only in spring.
The three rules
- Drainage beats schedule. If the pot has a hole, water when the top inch is dry.
- Light is food. Closer to the window is almost always better.
- Yellow leaves tell you things. Many yellow leaves plus wet soil means put the watering can down.
Pets
Pet-safe picks: none currently in stock. The cactus is a perimeter device.
Repotting
Spring, one pot size up.
